French duo DAT Politics returns this spring with their eleventh full-length LP 'Substage.' On the verge of their twenty-fifth year as a project, DAT Politics continue to explore themes of identity and resistance, while also incorporating new sounds into their music. The result is an album that is both familiar in structure yet fresh and exciting in execution. 'Substage' is their most sonically ambitious record to date. Confirming their obsessive taste for robotic turbo-hits, Substage also explores darker areas of their out-of-phase universe. Oscillating furiously between shattered beat-boxes and melodious spleen, saturation and introspection.
